Hi - I'm running Mac OS 13.2 on a 2015 MBP. All of the the latest updates are in order. Last week Outlook for Mac (v16.9) suddenly became unresponsive after downloading a series of new emails, showing an error message - 'Microsoft Outlook isn't responding right now. Do you want to wait, or quit?' Restarting didn't resolve the issue so I created a new Test Profile, and the application appears to work fine using the new profile. Which is great but I've lost all my data (appx 25,000 inbox and sent messages) across about 7 different email accounts.
I can't export the data from the Main Profile because I cannot use the application. I've been told that uninstalling and reinstalling Office probably won't resolve the issue either. So what steps can be taken to fix this issue, fix a corrupted profile and/or recover the missing data? Go to where the mail database is stored, /Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/Outlook/Outlook 15 Profiles/Main Profile/Data and delete or simply move the 'Outlook.sqllite' file. Now, assuming you have not changed your default profile, simply open outlook and you should be prompted that there is a problem and outlook needs to rebuild. If you did change your profile, change it back to 'Main Profile'. The Library folder is normally hidden.
You can paste the file path into the Go menu in Finder to get to the directory. I am an unpaid volunteer and do not work for Microsoft. 'Independent Advisors' work for contractors hired by Microsoft.

Using outlook for mac 2011: Outloook sync with ical and apple address book has stopped working now completely. Before - Answered by a verified Email technician We use cookies to give you the best possible experience on our website. A high volume of deleted messages, moved messages and re-organised folders in Outlook have not been synced. Nothing has changed with my email accounts or settings. It was working fine. I upgraded recently to the latest version for Mac 14.2.5 (121010), but I don't know if the problem occurred before or after the upgrade.
